As an Altar Ego, Duwa (she / sikara) is a conduit of stories, a mystic sage who taps into the ancestral line to find not only the essence of past lives, but also to speak into being the future hopes to be honored and cautions to be heeded. Sikara is a seer with a heart set on blazing a path for her people, calling for decolonization, land back, and people power.
Her first appearance was at Soft Power‘s The Debut. According to Dr. Kiernan M. Steiner, “The Debut is a spell for every artist’s liberation and sovereignty over our bodies, voices, & soft power” which followed an eight-week curriculum. The live performance was December 14, 2025.
